Madcross

Great way to start the season. Madison Planet Bike USGP was an amazing event. The whole team made it down to Madison. RPM, Mister Goodrich, and I carpooled on friday and stayed with a our coolest of cool host Matthew Sanborn. We slept well and headed to the races saturday morning. Super exciting pulling up and seeing the whole shebang a goin already with many familiar faces. Wallace, Beckie, and Tom were there getting ready. Everyone raced well with Wallace on 2nd spot on the podium for ss both days. Of course Rpm was tearing it up and top tened both days. 35+ race was full of hoodlums who either had been top dogs or should be ridin with the top dogs and it HURT from the get go. You always forget what the racing feels like until you're about 2 laps into the real suffering and you are reminded what it is that is cross. I hit about mid pack both days. First day off like a rocket, 2nd day letting it play out a little. I wasn't feelin too hot(or should I say too hot @80 degrees) All in all good fun and a great start with everyone there.
